Daniel 11 is a litereal prophecy. It is not spiritual

We need to have another  witness to this from another prophet

Daniel and Revelation give a view together and should not be seperated

Other prophtets views of  Islam. Joel 1,2 Habakkuk 3, isaiah 21,

jeremiah 49:28 Concerning Kedar, and concerning the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon shall smite, thus saith the Lord; Arise ye, go up to Kedar, and spoil the men of the east.29 Their tents and their flocks shall they take away: they shall take to themselves their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry unto them, Fear is on every side.

here we see literal babylon destroying men of east or muslim forefathers. at the end of time we have spiritual babylon {papacy} destroying muslims again. HISTORY REPEATS

Esau marries ishamaels daughter

genesis 28;9 Then went Esau unto Ishmael, and took unto the wives which he had Mahalath the daughter of {c} Ishmael Abraham's son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife.

The question has been asked, Do you not believe that we should pray to the dead apostles and saints? No; for this would teach for doctrine not a "Thus saith the Lord," but the "thus saith" of the man of sin, "the son of perdition; who opposeth himself above all that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God."--Ms 163, 1897, pp. 8, 9. ("The Third Angel's Message," December 17, 1897.)  {5MR 103.1}

The New Jerusalem will come down from Heaven to this spot. satan knows that and wants to get worship. he does through the power that inhabits Jarusalem.

papacy is antichrist and not islam

DANIEL 11;44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.( THIS REFERS TO THE LOUD CRY AND THE LATTER RAIN. MANY ARE CONVERTED AND THE PAPACY GOES TO DESTROY THEM AND PUT THEM TO DEATH. The loud cry has not happened yet.

REVELATION 18;6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,

13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.

15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,

16 And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,

18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!

19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

Positions taken upon the Eastern question are based upon prophecies which have not yet their fulfillment. …that portion of prophecy which will give great confirmation of faith in the soon loud cry and close of our message. But what will be the result of this positiveness in unfulfilled prophecies should things not come out as very confidently expected, is an anxious question. James White, Review and Herald, Nov. 29, 1877

All of tlhe pioneers used to believe that the king of the north was the papacy. they then changed their view when turkey arised in the news.

They then changed the view from THE KING to A KING. they changed on word and added a third power instead of interpetting it previously as 2 DISTINCT POWERS. you cannoty change 1 word. that what satan did to adam and eve.

Johns vision of rev 9 conducts the end of the ottoman turkish power august 11th 1840.If Turkey was to be interperetted as the king of the north, why God tell us that the end of the ottoman empire and the caliphate end in august 11th 1840

if turkey is king of north why is plant his tabernacles separated from the previous verses which is fulfilled many years in the past and plant his tabernacles is now. Are these verses complimentarty to each other or can they be sepereated. I'm proposing that they are connected and when Daniel 11 verse 40 starts that the other verses follow in quick succession.

Egw says the last verses in danil 11 will be fullfilled in quick and rapid succsion. the view of turkey put it in a long drawn out process.

up to verse 40

34, "Now, when they shall fall, they shall be helped with a little help; but many shall cleave to them with flatteries." This text agrees with one in Revelation 12:16, "And the earth helped the woman." "But many shall cleave to them;" that is, many men of the world would cleave to them, and professedly would flatter the true people of God that they were friendly at least to them, and by these means Satan carried on his wars against the children of God. 35, "And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge and to make them white, even to the time of the end, because it is yet for a time appointed." This verse shows us that even Christians would be led into some of the errors of Papacy, and would be tried and purged, even to the end of this image beast's reign, which time is appointed, as I have already shown, to be "time, times, and a half," 1260 years, ending A. D. 1798. 36, "And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished, for that is determined shall be done." The king here spoken of is the same as Daniel's little horn, which came up among the ten horns. It is the same that blasphemed the God of

heaven. It is mystical Babylon. Isa. 14:12-15; Rev. 13:5,6. The same Paul has described in his Epistle, 2 Thess. 2:1-9; the same image beast which we have been examining the history of; and one thing is evident, that this beast will continue until the day that God pours out his indignation upon a guilty world in some form or other. 37, "Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall magnify himself above all." In this passage we have a plain description of Papacy; they do not worship the same gods the Pagans did--"their fathers." And their clergy are forbidden to marry; the Pope calls himself the vicegerent of God,

Such was the history of France. The experience of that nation stands as an object lesson to the world. Truth had been proclaimed within her borders, but again the papacy rose up to do according to his will. It is in that country that verses 36-39 of chapter 11 were Margin
exactly fulfilled. Having rejected light, the intensity of the darkness into which men fell was beyond description. {1901 SNH, SDP 240.2}
Scott, in the life of Napoleon, speaking of France in the year 1793, just a few years before the expiration of the allotted time (verse 36), says: "The world for the first time heard an assembly of men, born and educated in civilization, and assuming to govern one of the finest European nations, uplift their united voices to deny the most solemn truth which man's soul receives, and renounce unanimously the belief and worship of the Deity." "France stands apart in the world's history as the single state which, by the decree of her legislative assembly, pronounced that there was no God, and of which the entire population of the capital, and a vast majority elsewhere, women as well as men, danced and sang with joy in accepting the announcement. This was atheism-the logical result of the position taken in Alexandria when Christians assumed the garb of pagan philosophers. God's Word was treated as a product of the human mind. Atheism in the individual is likewise the result of so treating the Scriptures." {1901 SNH, SDP 241.1}

as to the eastern question and so many interested. it is the same today. everyone is intersted in islam because they asre killing chrstiand but many do not know that i t is God using them as his Judgmetns on apostate chrstians. only the people of God who are sealed will be protected.

Dan. vii. 25. And shall wear out the saints of the Most High. {1838 JoL, PSC 32.3}
Dan. vii. 25. And think to change times and laws, and they shall be given unto his hand. {1838 JoL, PSC 32.4}

Dan. viii. 12. And it cast down truth to the ground, and practised and prospered. {1838 JoL, PSC 32.8}
It is also pretty generally agreed that the man of sin, described by Paul, 2 Thess. 2nd chapter, describes Papal Rome. I will therefore contrast Paul's description of the man of sin with Daniel's little horn of the eighth chapter. {1838 JoL, PSC 32.9}

2 Thess. ii. 4. Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he, as God, sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. {1838 JoL, PSC 32.13}
